Pickleball equipment changes quickly: model generations share names, marketplace pages switch child variants, and certification status can be confused with a quality rating. This site exists to make those boundaries visible.

Pickleball Gear Guide compares published specifications, official or regulatory records, independent measurements when an exact-generation test exists, and a dated commerce receipt. A marketplace listing never proves performance, fit, durability, or safety.

How reviews are built

Current reviews use source synthesis. Each published review identifies its sources, access date, and evidence basis. Unless a page links a real test artifact, we did not hands-on test that product. No measurements, wear sessions, timing runs, or court sessions are implied.

What we won’t do

• Take payment, free product, or sponsored placements from manufacturers.
• Use an Amazon listing as proof of product performance or certification.
• Transfer measurements from an older generation to a current model.
• Present general equipment information as medical advice or evidence of a health outcome.
